Having done numerous Millennial presentations and Coaching Human Resource folks and Business Leaders around best practices for Developing Millennial Leaders it is still fascinating to hear the myths that persist when it comes to this highly sought after and impacting generation. The stereotyping is a problem, understanding a generation that wants to live differently than previous generation is not that big of a stretch really. I recently had someone say to me “Millennials are no different than other generations and I am not even sure why this is important.”

This persons opinion is in the minority. The importance is not lost on progressive companies that want top talent and critical thinkers on board. Millennials are changing the world and it is an exciting time to be a part of what is happening and what is yet to come. The real question is will the former way of doing things get in the new ways of being. Stay tuned!
